From October 19th to November 19th, 2023, CUTL invited Professor Alexander Jesser, a professor from Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences and the head of the Institute of Intelligent Cyber Physical Systems (ICPS), to come to our college for a one-month training and guidance. During this period, Professor Jesser assisted in the construction of our unmanned aerial vehicle laboratory, and held lectures and forums titled "Introduction to the Research Activities at the ICPS" for our faculty and students.
Alexander Jesser is a professor of Embedded Systems and Communication Engineering at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, and led the establishment of the Institute of Intelligent Cyber Physical Systems (ICP) in 2021. ICPS has developed into the largest research institution of the university, engaged in research projects in a wide range of fields such as speech and image processing, robotics, Industry 4.0, Internet of Things, digital transformation, etc., with nearly 20 internal doctoral students and about 10 external doctoral students. Professor Jesser mainly engages in projects related to artificial intelligence. Professor Jesser is also in a favorable position internationally and is seeking international scientific cooperation.
